Description: Lovely sharp baryte from the Sherman tunnel in Colorado. This mine is well known for producing some of the best baryte specimens available from the state of Colorado. This particular specimen features a lovely white core with an translucent yellow exterior on both sides creating a layered “sandwich” look when viewed on edge. This is one of the nicer specimen I have seen from this locality. Ex. James W. Ahl Collection.
