Fluorite, Niederschlag mine, Barenstein, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany

$3,000.00

Size: 15.6x12.0x7.0 cm

Species: Fluorite

Locality: Niederschlag mine, Barenstein, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany

Description: This was one of the best quality larger specimens I was able to obtain on my last trip to Germany. The Niederschlag mine has been operating for the last 10 years or so and this is some of the best material I have seen coming from the property. The current find is from the 4th level of the mine. The color is a vivid yellowish green and really pops in a case. The fluorite cubes are quite glassy in some areas and the specimen is relatively free of damage for the size.
