Description: A wonderful example of the botryoidal dark salmon colored rhodochrosite that was found in Kazakhstan in the 80s and 90s. The specimen exhibits a waxy luster and is damage free outside of the contacts on the side where the specimen was removed. These Kazakhstan rhodochrosites are fairly difficult to find in good quality. A great addition to any rhodochrosite collection.
