Description: This is a wonderful herringbone pattern dendritic silver coated in safflorite. This was an extremely high grade silver mine producing 6.5 Moz of Ag from 1917-1931 alone! The mine was subsequently rehabbed and partially operated for a brief period in the 1980’s. (https://www.mindat.org/loc-5830.html) This is a superbly aesthetic example of the extremely high grade material that was recovered from this mine. Ex. Kay Robertson Collection.
