Mineral: Turquoise - Cut Cabochon

Locality: Kingman Mining District, Mohave County, Arizona, USA

Description: This is a superb old stock Kingman turquoise cabochon hailing from the renowned turquoise sate of Arizona. I have collected and cut turquoise since I was a child. This is by far some of the best color and webbing I have ever seen in a cab this large. All natural non-stabilized and unbacked this specimen is just pure gem. Measuring 7.4 cm by 3.4 cm and weighing in at just over 107 carats. This specimen is priced at less than $15 per carat, which is incidentally the price it sold for in the 1990's according to the original label.
